The brief

Two 4m Insulated XPandaStores linked side-by-side to create a 4m × 4.2m room — the same footprint as our stockroom and workshop setups, aimed at a completely different use.

It's currently being fitted out as a studio and music room: the insulated panels keep instruments and equipment away from damp and temperature swings, and add a useful layer of sound deadening over a single-skin steel shed. Floor-level ventilation keeps air moving without a window open, and heavy-duty double-locking doors keep the kit secure between sessions.
