One range of steel buildings. Endless ways to use them.
Every building in the XPanda range is flatpacked, modular, and ready to become exactly what your business or hobby needs next — a stockroom, a workshop, a studio, a site office. Match units of the same type together, end-to-end or side-by-side, whenever you need more room.

4m × 2.1m Insulated XPandaStore fitted out as a temperature-stable stockroom — interior render, shelving and pallet racking visible
The Temperature-Stable Stockroom
An insulated stockroom unit built for dry inventory storage — a genuine micro-warehouse for textile & packaging storage that can't afford condensation damage.
Built using Insulated XPandaStore — 4m × 2.1m
Insulated wall and roof panels keep stock out of the worst temperature swings, while floor-level ventilation stops the condensation that ruins packaging and electronics in an ordinary steel shed. It's a straightforward drop-in for perishables, spare parts or anything you can't afford to find damp. Add slatted shelving and a pallet bay for a working goods store, or link two units end-to-end when one bay isn't enough. Powder-coated galvanised steel means no repainting, no rot, and a lockable single door as standard.

4.3m XPandaCabin set up as an on-site office and canteen — desks one end, kitchenette/seating the other
The On-Site Office & Canteen
Built using XPandaCabin — 4.3m × 2.3m
Ample natural light from the windows means the cabin doesn't feel like a portable building once you're inside it — useful when it's doubling as a break room as well as an office. Insulated and lined for year-round comfort, it splits easily into a desk zone and a kitchenette-and-seating zone for site teams, with first-fix electrical trunking ready for sockets and lighting. Because it's flatpacked, it moves with the contract instead of being written off at the end of it. Link a second XPandaCabin side-by-side when the crew outgrows one bay.

3m × 2.1m Insulated XPandaStore fitted out as a farm battery storage and inverter room — battery racks and inverter cabinets visible
The Farm Battery & Inverter Room
An insulated metal store built to keep off-grid power equipment dry and temperature-stable — battery storage that doesn't cook in summer or condensate in winter.
Built using Insulated XPandaStore — 3m × 2.1m
Battery banks and inverters are fussy about their environment — too hot and performance and lifespan suffer, too damp and you're looking at corrosion on expensive terminals and electronics. The insulated wall and roof panels keep the internal temperature far more stable than an uninsulated shed, while floor-level ventilation stops the condensation that's the real enemy of anything running 24/7. At 3m there's room for battery racking along one wall and inverter cabinets along the other, with the heavy-duty double-locking door keeping it secure. Popular for farms and off-grid sites running solar or wind power that need a dedicated, weatherproof plant room without pouring a concrete base for a permanent building.

The Secure Motorbike & Quad Workshop
An insulated motorbike garage flatpack built to keep the bay bone dry — the dry motorcycle workshop and secure quad bike vault in one unit.
Built using 2× Insulated XPandaStore — 4m × 2.1m, linked to form 4m × 4.2m
Insulated wall and roof panels keep the damp off chrome and electrics far better than a canvas cover or an uninsulated shed ever will — genuinely useful when the bay is doing double duty as a workshop, not just somewhere to hide the bikes. Two units linked side-by-side give a proper 4.2m of width: room for a workbench, wall-mounted tool boards, and two or three machines with space to actually work around them, not just squeeze past. Each unit keeps its own heavy-duty double-locking door, so you've got two secure access points rather than one bottleneck. Add a laid floor and a lighting kit to finish it as a proper workshop.

12m linked XPandaOffice workshop — customer photo showing woodworking machinery and a partitioned resin curing room
The Woodworking & Resin Curing Workshop
A real customer install — two linked XPandaOffices turned into a full woodworking shop with its own climate-controlled resin curing room.
Built using 2× XPandaOffice — 6m × 2.3m, linked to form 12m × 2.3m
Two 6m XPandaOffices linked end-to-end for a full 12m run, turned into a proper woodworking workshop — the increased ceiling height and robust panels give room for full-size machinery and dust extraction. At one end, the customer partitioned off his own temperature-controlled resin curing room, kept separate from the sawdust and vibration next door. Pre-laid floor and insulation meant it was usable the moment the units were up.

4m × 4.2m linked Insulated XPandaStore room — photo coming once the customer's studio/music room fit-out is complete
The Studio & Music Room
Freshly linked and being fitted out as a home music studio — proof the same insulated units that stop condensation in a stockroom work just as well behind a mixing desk.
Built using 2× Insulated XPandaStore — 4m × 2.1m, linked to form 4m × 4.2m
Two 4m Insulated XPandaStores linked side-by-side to create a 4m × 4.2m room — the same footprint as our stockroom and workshop setups, aimed at a completely different use. It's currently being fitted out as a studio and music room: the insulated panels keep instruments and equipment away from damp and temperature swings, and add a useful layer of sound deadening over a single-skin steel shed. Floor-level ventilation keeps air moving without a window open, and heavy-duty double-locking doors keep the kit secure between sessions.
Which anti-condensation flatpack storage do you need?
Same footprint, two different products. The Insulated XPandaStore is built from the ground up with 40mm polyurethane panels — that's what stops the condensation, rust and mould a standard unit won't.
Standard XPandaStore
Heavy-Duty, Ultra-Secure Outdoor Storage- Solid galvanised steel, powder coat finish options
- Heavy-duty double-locking 1250mm door
- 2–4m × 2.1m, links with other Standard units
Insulated XPandaStore
Zero Condensation, Zero Rust- 40mm polyurethane insulation — purpose-built, not a retrofit
- Floor-level ventilation actively reduces condensation
- Same footprint, links with other Insulated units

Frequently asked questions
A standard steel unit won't stop the temperature swing that causes condensation. The Insulated XPandaStore is a purpose-built product with 40mm polyurethane panels and floor-level ventilation, so it protects tools, bikes and stock from rust, corrosion and damp without giving up any security. See it in action in the stockroom setup guide.
Condensation forms when warm, moist air meets a cold surface — common overnight in an uninsulated shed. The 40mm polyurethane panels create a thermal barrier, and floor-level ventilation lets moist air escape rather than settle, which is what keeps tools rust-free and stock dry. Full detail in the battery & inverter room guide.
In most cases, no — XPanda buildings are demountable, so they typically fall under permitted development. Rules vary by council, plot size and boundary proximity, so check your own project against our full planning permission guide.
